Home Made Snoots for Flash Photography
These are home-made snoots and a diffuser made from common materials found at home, Home Depot, and Arts&Crafts stores. Pretty easy to make really good looking devices cheap that WORK GREAT!!! The rubber sheet really makes these look almost "real"!!! I need to remake the diffuser with all rubber outsides and it will look store bought!! Check out the comments on each for more details. I thank "Strobist - Lighting 101 for the inspiration! Check it out here:

Home made Cardboard Snoot for Nikon sb-26 and others - Cut your cardboard for your flash with overlap for underneath part. I used staples and Tacky Glue (from artsy store (Michaels) to hold carboard together. Same store has VERY COOL black rubbery sheets with one-sided tackiness (remove the paper backing) that I then covered the outer carboard past the overlap. Oh, I cut and tacky glued sheets of reflective sheets from same store to the inside. This makes a very strong, light weight snoot! If you made it right, it just shoves on the head of the flash and stays put. WORKS GREAT and LOOKS GREAT!!
