The Shrimp boat Miss Shirley was beached or grounded on Jekyll Island, Georgia on the Atlantic ocean in 2004. She was man-handled off the beach at midnight on the rising tide and re-beached on the backside of the island on St. Andrews beach. By 11:00 am she had burned to the waterline.
